Simply defined, line editing is a line-by-line assessment of your work. I will check each word for correct and consistent spelling; will evaluate sentences in terms of flow, voice, tone, and style; and will generally review the effectiveness of how each line communicates your story to readers. Traditionally, line editing may not include copy editing, but I do include what some might consider copy edits in my line editing service package.
